Neu, fresh food for dogs!

NEUfrau Oy is a family business from Pori, founded in 2005, which produces fresh frozen dog food from high-quality, Finnish ingredients. We carefully prepare the food by hand in our small production facilities, where our customers are always welcome to visit. Our operation is a continuation of the many decades of experience of Kennel Reiko from Pori in the manufacture of dog food. The raw materials of the products are carefully weighed and thought out so that they support your dog's well-being as much as possible.

Our mission is to improve canines well-being with species-specific food

We are here as a counterweight to the industry that is based on a highly processed and unnatural diet. We have a farm, where we handcraft natural and pure food for dogs, which contains all the nutrients a dog needs on a daily basis. NEU is suitable for dogs of all sizes, from chihuahua puppies to full-sized Great Danes, and has everything a dog needs. That's it, nothing extra added. We want to do this in the best way so that our work increases the dogs' well-being. At the end of the day, it's pretty simple: dogs do well when we feed them the kind of food they would eat themselves. It contains the same ingredients as the wolf's diet. Our products are based on the idea of what is in a wolf's natural diet and how the characteristics of dogs that evolved from wolves have influenced what they should eat. Some dogs are very close to the wolf's diet and others are further away. We want all dogs to have a chance to be healthy and happy and that's why we are here.

Food that is useful

Skin symptoms, allergies, yeast infections and other diseases are unfortunately common even among dogs. Rice-based foods are suitable for one dog, potato-based foods for another, buckwheat for some. Some dogs are allergic to beef, others to wheat. For dogs suffering from many kinds of skin problems, the solution has been found in raw food containing lactic acid bacteria and low in carbohydrates.
